The accident also injured 2 others, one of them being in a critical condition.

The wall of warehouse next door fell over and crushed the local art centre. At that time, a group of junior high school students were preparing for a show.

The deceased included six boys between 13 and 15 years old and the centre's 48-year-old manager.

The cause of the collapse is under investigation.

In January, a mezzanine floor of the Indonesia Stock Exchange in Jakarta collapsed, killing at least 75 people.
