A fire broke out on a crude oil tanker docked at the Waruna Shipyard at Belawan port in Indonesia's North Sumatra province on May 11 morning.

Several workers have been rushed to hospitals after suffering burns in the accident.

The number of workers is still missing, and they were reportedly trapped inside the ship which is under repair.

At least six fire engines and three tugboats with water cannons were deployed to put out the fire.

The boat was built in 1999 and owned by Indonesian shipbuilding company PT Waruna Nusa Sentana.
