Over recent months, many cases of social security violations have been recorded in Ngu Hanh Son District on the south-east side of Da Nang.

In particular, many illegal foreign employees have been discovered at local foreign-invested construction sites.  Although they entered Viet Nam with tourist visas, they stayed and worked illegally in the city.  The district’s relevant agencies have recently imposed administrative fines, worth 960 million VND in total, on 64 foreign violators.

In addition, the district has seen an increasing number of people involved in creating public order disturbances in local residential areas, using weapons and causing injuries to others, and using and trading illegal drugs.

Furthermore, many cases of pavement encroachment for the purpose of trade have been found in the district, whilst the local traffic safety violations have yet to be resolved effectively.

In an attempt to solve the above-mentioned problems, the focus will be on increasing checks and tightening the management of foreigners who are working and renting houses in the city.

Importance will be attached to installing surveillance cameras at local intersections and ensuring the efficient installation of local traffic warning signs about parking permits, vehicles’ speed, and loading capacity.
