Following last year’s instructions from the city’s authorities, the municipal Department of Planning and Investment has shortened the time for business and tax registration procedures to 8 days from the currently regulated 10 days. At the moment, the department is handling online business registration procedures under a pilot programme which is being organised by the Vietnamese Department of Business Registration Management.
Da Nang now has 6 industrial parks (IPs) covering a total area of over 1,055ha. The city will take back a total of 21.98ha of under-used or unused land at the 6 IPs. Meanwhile, local authorities will lease more land at the IPs to businesses which make commitments to use the land to conduct production activities.
Local authorities are also checking business land-use outside local IPs, and the city will similarly take back any under-used or unused land.
