Da Nang's modern coach station
Exam candidates, with their relatives, from across the country have been coming to Da Nang to take this year’s university and college entrance exams, and most have arrived at the city’s coach station. Most of the passengers have been impressed by its cleanliness, spaciousness, and the professional working attitude of the staff. The station has operated in an orderly fashion, without the pushing and jostling which might have been expected.
The General Director of the Da Nang Transportation and Bus Station Management Company, Mr Le Viet Hoang, said that his company had built a spacious and modern e-coach station, which focuses on using specialised software in the management system for the coaches. He remarked that the application of IT has brought many benefits to the station’s employees and its passengers. It has helped to ensure smoother ticket selling operations, better management of vehicle parking, the use of vehicle tracking and monitoring devices, and has improved the quality of passenger transportation services.

There are now over 1,600 coaches belonging to 123 transport companies operating on 80 fixed routes out of Da Nang. This is the result of cooperation agreements signed between the Da Nang Transportation and Bus Station Management Company and its above-mentioned partners.
