A promotional event entitled “Advertising Da Nang’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) Tourism” is being held in Ha Noi today, 2 July, and a similar event will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on 4 July.

Organised by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the events aim to introduce the city’s low tourism season promotional packages to businesses and potential customers in the 2 cities.

During the events, a focus will also be on introducing businesses to the city’s infrastructure development over recent years and its special tourism products.  The aim is to give businesses in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City easier access the city’s tourism activities, as well as open up cooperative opportunities for businesses in the 2 localities.

Also at the events, attractive promotion packages in the "2014 Tourism Stimulus in Da Nang" programme will be introduced with the active involvement of about 90 local travel agencies.  They are offering a total of around 20,000 discount vouchers which give between 5% and 50% off on their services.  Their promotional programme is also being applied on more than 10 of their new tourism products.  Most notably, the travel agencies pledge to ensure quality of service in the promotion packages which are being offered to their customers.
