A seminar on the 5S method (sorting, systematic arrangement, shining, standardising and sustaining) for businesses operating in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District took place in the city on 18 July.  The event was jointly organised by the Hai Chau District People's Committee and its Businesses Association, along with the Human Resource Institute Viet Nam.

At the event, Japanese expert Mishuhashi Hiroshi introduced the achievements gained by his country’s businesses in the context of global integration.  Various issues were also presented at the event, including the keys leading to the success of the Japanese people, effective ways to improve technologies and the quality of products, and other practical examples.

Mr Hiroshi said that improving the quality of products and minimising production costs are of particular concern to all businesses.  He added that the seminar would bring benefits to local businesses in practical and effective ways.
