To date, more than 300 of the over 600 containers of second-hand tyres which had been imported through Da Nang Port by the Quang Nam-based Chu Lai Float Glass Joint Stock Company (Indevco) have now been transported to the Ky Ha Port in Quang Nam Province.  The remainder are expected to be cleared from the Da Nang Port during December.

As reported here on 23 October, the container backlog took up a large area of the port, causing environmental pollution and creating management difficulties for the local customs force.
