Focus on market price stabilisation for Tet
The Da Nang authorities have approved a market price stabilisation programme in the inner-city, local industrial parks, and rural and mountainous areas during the remaining 2 months of this year, and for Tet 2015. The purpose is to ensure social welfare, which is one of the city’s annual key tasks.
Any city business which wants to participate in public biddings for selling pork at stabilised prices must ensure sufficient supplies of this item and enough transport services, and that they have their own storehouses. Pork products will be sold at 13 locations at the Con, Han, Dong Da, An Hai Dong, Mai, Hoa Cuong, Hoa Khanh and Sieu Thi markets, along with the retail stores of the winning bidders. The pork will be sold at 10 - 15% below normal prices. In addition, there will be 2 trucks carrying pork in local busy areas as per the request of the municipal People’s Committee.
