Starting from 1 November, Mogas 92 petrol has been replaced by E5 bio-fuel, and only Mogas 95 and E5 bio-fuel are now allowed to be sold at filling stations across Da Nang.  This requirement is under an agreement signed in September by leaders of the city authorities, the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, and the PetroVietnam Oil Corporation.

However, Mogas 92 is still on sale at some local filling stations, including those on Nguyen Huu Tho, 2 September and Nguyen Luong Bang streets, because large stocks of this type of gasoline remain to be used up.

A local customer has his motorbike filled up with E5 bio-fuel
