During a recent meeting to discuss the establishment of a specialised eating and drinking area on Huynh Thuc Khang Street, the Chairman of the Hai Chau District People’s Committee, Mr Le Anh, stressed the need to improve the infrastructure as well as ensure delicious dishes in order to attract more visitors.  The specialised area is expected to be officially opened on 26 December.

Under the project, the area will feature eateries selling breakfast dishes, along with coffee shops, along the street.

Also at the meeting, the re-arrangement of vehicle parking lots to ensure traffic order and safety in the area was discussed.  In addition, traders on the street will be provided with training courses in business skills, civilised trading activities, and food processing technology.  This should help the traders improve their food quality as well as ensure food safety and hygiene, plus environmental sanitation.
