On Thursday, police officers from the Economic Crime Investigation Division of the Da Nang Department of Police found and seized dozens of boxes containing western medicines and over 1,400 bottles of foreign grape wine.  The seized items were found on a train from Ha Noi to Da Nang, and are thought to have been sourced from China.

The medicine consisted of thousands of packs of pills which had been put into 20 cartons, and there was no relevant documentation.  The bills of lading state that some distributors of medicines in Da Nang are the receivers.

Meanwhile, the confiscated bottles of foreign grape wine were labelled with well-known brand names.  However, their origin is unknown and their relevant documents are believed to be incorrect.

The case is under investigation.
