Many of Da Nang's supermarkets have announced that they will extend their opening hours before and during the Tet period to meet the increasing shopping demands of local residents.

BigC Mall at 255 Hung Vuong Street is a typical example.  Between 15 and 17 February the supermarket will open its doors at 7am, 30 minutes earlier than on normal days, and stay open until 11pm or until the last customer leaves.  On 18 February it will be open from 7am until noon and then be closed for Tet until 21 February, when it returns to its regular opening hours.

As for Coop.Mart on 48 Dien Bien Phu Street, opening hours between 15 and 17 February will be 6am to 12 midnight.  On 18 February, the supermarket will open from 6am to noon and then close until 20 February.  From 20 to 23 February it will be open only between 8am and noon, but will be back to normal on 24 February.

The Intimex Phan Dinh Phung supermarket on 46 Phan Dinh Phung Street is open until 3pm on 18 February, and then it will be closed 19-22 February.  The supermarket will operate normally again from 8am on 23 February.   

For Metro on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, opening hours from now until 18 February is 5am to 11pm.
