The 2015 International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre ended on Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-day event had featured a total of over 400 stands of 200 domestic and foreign businesses, trade promotion organisations and relevant agencies.  It proved to be a great success having attracted about 50,000 visitors and the participating businesses took an estimated over 3 billion VND from sales.

Within the framework of the event, a workshop on connecting supply and demand links and seeking trade opportunities was held.  Representatives from about 70 domestic and foreign businesses attended to discuss effective ways to enhance economic cooperation between businesses and their localities to fully tap their strengths and potential.

A workshop also took place on boosting the development of tourism in South Korea’s Changwon City, and there was a meeting between the city’s Nghia An Thinh Investment Joint Stock Company and the Thai business participants to appeal for foreign investment into the local Han Department Store on 23 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
