The Da Nang Tobacco Company recently transferred 30% of its total capital to the Viet Nam National Tobacco Corporation (Vinataba) with the aim of making Vinataba a large-scale State-owned company with advanced technology.

Municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary Vo Cong Tri took the opportunity to ask Vinataba to fulfil its assigned tasks and actively contribute to the city's budget, as well as to become actively involved in local social welfare programmes and become a strong business in the city.

To mark the occasion, Vinataba has donated 300 million VND to the city’s Cancer Hospital.
