Prices of essential goods remain unchanged despite drop in fuel prices
According to a recent survey conducted by Da Nang’s relevant agencies, the prices of many essential and consumer products that are being sold at local markets have not fallen despite the latest drop in fuel prices on 3 September.
The Hoa Cuong Wholesale Market receives an average of between 300 and 350 tonnes of products every day from northern and southern localities. However, the prices of most of these items have not changed. In fact, the prices of some products including basil and coriander have actually increased recently due to it being the end of their growing season.
