Thanks to their dynamism, enthusiasm and professional skills, Da Nang’s young entrepreneurs are increasingly winning the trust of their customers in both domestic and foreign markets. 

Over recent years, they have already gained numerous prestigious national and municipal awards.  Most notably, 11 of the city’s businesses have received Gold Star Awards, and 5 local entrepreneurs have been presented with awards for outstanding young Vietnamese entrepreneurs.  Two outstanding businesswomen have won the ‘Yellow Rose Cup', 4 have been honoured as outstanding young start-up entrepreneurs, and 20 others have been recognised as outstanding municipal businesspeople.

In particular, such local businesses as the Danapha Pharmaceutical Company and the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Company have built strong positions in their customer markets.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Minh Toan Trading and Service Company, Mr Nguyen Huu Thanh, said that the achievements noted above are very modest in comparison with other localities nationwide.  He hoped that current and next generations of young entrepreneurs would make greater efforts to develop more businesses with their scale operation and brand names at national level.

The 35 year-old General Director of the city’s Vietsec Company, Mr Nguyen Thanh Truong, remarked that local young entrepreneurs always have the desire to develop their own famous brand names at national and regional levels.  To do that, he added, they need greater support from the city authorities and the local Young Entrepreneurs Association as they face shortages of investment capital and production space.
