Foreigners to be invited to consult local master plan
The municipal Department of Construction and relevant agencies have been instructed by the Da Nang authorities to select reputable foreign consultants to help the city create a master plan for the development of the western side of the city.
The plan will be part of the city’s overall master urban plan, which aims to ensure that urban infrastructure is associated with socio-economic development strategies matching those of Quang Nam Province’s northwestern districts.
The Department will also work closely with the Hoa Vang District authorities to discuss the expansion of National Highway 14G and DH 10, the road linking Hoa Ninh with Hoa Phu communes in the district. The district authorities are asking permission from the Da Nang authorities to rebuild this road on the build-transfer (BT) basis.
According to the project’s developer, the 4.1km-long DH 10 will be upgraded into a 10m-wide, 2-lane road at a cost of 255 billion VND.
