According to the Da Nang Taxation Department, 3,893 new businesses were established in the city between January and October.  This figure is up 35% compared with the same period last year, and has helped to bring the total number of local businesses operating in the city to 20,613.

During the 10-month period, 1,759 businesses were dissolved, a decrease of 13 % against the same period last year, whilst another 786 had their business activities temporarily suspended, an increase of 19%.
