According to the latest figure released by the Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment, the local authorities last month granted business registration certificates to 378 new domestic businesses, branches and representative offices with a total registered charter capital of 997.3 billion VND.  This has brought the total number of new domestic  businesses, branches and representative offices in the city in the first 4 months of this year to 1,530, with a total registered charter capital of over 10,500 billion VND.

Also in April, the city authorities granted investment licences for 10 FDI projects, worth 690,000 USD in total.  This figure represented an increase of 25% and 18.9% in the number of businesses and amount of investment respectively against the same period last year.
