According to the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, a number of new specialised shopping and eating areas will be established in the city in the years ahead.

These include an area featuring restaurants offering very tasty rice served in hand-made clay pots on Nguyen Tri Phuong, whilst traditional handicrafts will be sold on Nguyen Dinh Tuu, seafood dishes on Vo Nguyen Giap, and delicious Vietnamese dishes on Phan Tu. 

Also, 2 new night markets will be established on a pilot basis: one on a section of Trieu Viet Vuong between its intersections with Mai Hac De and Tran Hung Dao, and the other on a section of Minh Mang between its intersections with Le Van Hien and Vo Nguyen Giap.

Appeals will be made for investment from both home and abroad into the development of these specialised areas.
