On 27 September, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, and budget airlines Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet Air, began selling air fares for domestic flights serving Tet (Lunar New Year), which falls in February, 2018.

During 31 January- 2 March, 2018, Vietnam Airlines will offer 1.4 million seats on all domestic routes, up 127,700 seats (equivalent to 694 flights) from the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Jetstar Pacific has put 540,000 tickets on sale to serve increasing demands in the period.
Representatives from both airlines said that ticket prices will not scale up and passengers are advised to book their tickets as soon as possible to enjoy a good deal.

Meanwhile, Vietjet Air has offered 1,220,000 tickets on both domestic and international flights with shocking price just only from 0 VND on three super-promotional days from 27-29 September at the golden hours from 12.00pm to 2:00pm (Ha Noi time).

The promotional tickets will be applied for various routes including to Seoul, Busan (the Republic of Korea), Hong Kong/ Kaohsiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Chinese Taiwan), Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Yangon (Myanmar), Siem Reap (Cambodia) with the flight time being from 1 November, 2017 to 31 March, 2018.
