Many hotels which have already been selected to serve the upcoming AELW, now have sufficient human resources. In particular, these venues have recruited a total of 1,000 part-time employees who are undergraduates from universities and junior colleges.
The General Manager of the Furama Resort Danang, Mr Matthias Wiesmann, proudly said that his luxury resort has focused on developing new facilities to serve AELW, especially the Ariyana Convention and Exhibition Centre (ADECC) to the south of the Furama Villas Danang.
Alongside, many training courses have been provided to the resort’s staff members in order to enhance their professional skills.
Furama Resort Danang and the Ecolab Vietnam JSC- Viet Nam's leading company in manufacturing and distribution of consumer goods – recently jointly organised an extensive training course on food hygiene systems for a total of about 100 kitchen and stewarding employees.
Additionally, all the trainees learned about how to apply proper chemicals to food and kitchen utensils.
This training programme aimed to enhance the quality of the resort’s kitchen team to serve the APEC summit week, and other important international events in the coming time.

Most notably, VITRACO has already joined with other Vietnamese transport providers to serve events in Hoi An, Thua Thien Hue Province and Can Tho City within the framework of the ongoing ‘APEC Viet Nam 2017’ programme.
Almost VITRACO drivers and assistants have gained thorough grasps of the city’s regulations about traffic arrangements for the APEC summit week, giving way to vehicles with APEC registration plates, and not running or parking along some certain inner-city streets during this large-scale international event.
The Deputy Director of municipal Tourism Department, Mr Tran Chi Cuong, remarked that those who work in reception, bed-making, table setting, cooking and bar services, and other related aspects are willing to show their friendly and hospitable attitude and behaviour meeting the international standard protocols towards their clients in order to make them feel satisfied during their stay in the city.
