Australia offers great opportunity for city's exporters
The Australian market presents a huge opportunity for Da Nang’s exporters.
This statement was released by the Director of Business Development-Asia Pacific Region of the Tien Thinh International Migration & Investment Consulting, Le Thanh Tung, at Thursday’s seminar.
Jointly organised by the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tien Thinh International Migration & Investment Consulting, this seminar featured discussions about how to boost bilateral trading and investment links between Viet Nam and Australia.
According to Mr Tung, many Australian states now show their keen interest in the aspects of education, agriculture, minerals and tourism.
This expert, however, underlined the need for businesses from Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, to be increasingly aware of the product quality standards set by the Australian government.
Also at the event, representatives from local businesses were briefed on the Australia’s investment environment, as well as on the performance of Australian importers and trade promotion partners.
Viet Nam is currently one of the 4 largest seafood exporters to Australia, with annual export growth rate at 8% on average over the past decade.
