Significant growth in foreign tourist arrivals to the city
Da Nang is likely to have seen a significant growth in international tourist arrivals by the end of this year, according to the city’s Department of Tourism.

The number of international visitors to the city is expected to have risen by 36.8% against 2016 to 2.3 million this year.
In 2017, about 6.6 million visitors are predicted to have come to Da Nang, up 19% against last year and 4.8% higher than this year’s target, 4.3 million of whom are domestic tourists, up 11.3%.
The beautiful seaside city is likely to have earned over 19.4 trillion VND (853.96 million USD) in revenue from tourism, an increase of 20.6 % against 2016.
Statistics also show that the city witnessed an impressive increase in the number of visitors by air which stood at over 1.58 million, up 74.4% while by-car visitors via Thailand and Laos was estimated at 14,120.
