On Wednesday, two cruise ships, carrying a total of 3,850 foreign passengers, mainly Chinese nationalities, docked at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port.

In detail, Glory Sea and World Dream, both arranged by the Saigontourist travel agency, brought 550 and 3,300 passengers, to the city respectively.

During their one-day stay in the seaside city, some of the passengers were taken on organised daily tours to local popular attractions, including the Museum of Da Nang, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, and the Da Nang Cathedral. They also went shopping at such local markets and supermarkets as Con, Han, and BigC.

The 2 ships then left the city for other destinations on the same day.

By the end of this month, Da Nang is likely to have welcomed 16 cruise ships, carrying a total of around 14,740 foreign passengers who want to discover the beauty of Da Nang, Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City, and Thua Thien-Hue Province’s Hue City.
