The creation of a 3m-wide public walkway allowing public access to beaches between the Furama Resort Danang and the Ariyana Danang Tourism Complex in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Khue My Ward, Da Nang, is scheduled to be completed no later than 10 December.

Work is progressing well on the creation of a 3m-wide public walkway allowing public access to beaches between the Furama Resort Danang and the Ariyana Danang Tourism

Covering a total area of 1.278ha, the project on which work started in mid-October, is underway at an estimated cost of 2.25 billion VND funded by the city budget.

Under the detailed plan, the whole project features a pedestrian promenade, a green area, a parking lot for under 7-seater vehicles, a wide complex for public toilets and service areas, and a wide sandy area, plus other utilities.

Also, work is now progressing on tiling the pavements, planting trees, placing signboards, and installing lighting and irrigation systems along the walkway.

The soon-to-be-opened footpath will help to create airy space connecting the beach with nearby residential areas, as well as to promote beach use for the general public, and enhance the beauty of urban landscapes.

Also, the completion of compulsory procedures is on track to open a 5.7m-wide footpath at the end of coastal Ho Xuan Huong Street and a 7m-wide walkway to the south of the Hoang Dat Silver Shores Exceptional International Entertainment project by 31 December.

In a similar vein, work is scheduled to start within December on the creation of a 3m-wide and 507m-long footpath to the south of the Future Property Invest tourism area project, and a 7m-wide, 271m-long one on the northern side of the Song - Danang Beach Villas project.

As per the request from the Da Nang government, the municipal Management Board of Traffic Project Investment and Construction is in charge of managing the creation of the 5 walkway mentioned above in Ngu Hanh Son District.
