4.5 billion VND approved for creating new coastal footpaths

The Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment has approved a financial and technical plan on creating 2 new coastal footpaths allowing public access to beaches at a total cost of 4.5 billion VND.

The new walking routes aim to facilitate locals and visitors find it easier to access beautiful beaches.

In particular, a 507.8m-long and 4m-wide public footpath will be created at the Future Property Invest tourism area project in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Hai Ward at a cost of 3.27 billion VND.

Under the detailed plan, this footpath will have 3m-wide road surface and 2 pavements of 3m in width each.

In addition, the focus will be on planting ornamental trees along the footpath, installing power supply and automatic watering systems, and creating stairs leading to sandy area.

In the similar vein, a new beach walkway will be created at the end of coastal Ho Xuan Huong Street in Ngu Hanh Son District’s My An Ward at the cost of 1.24 billion VND.

Under the project, the existing 5.7m-wide walkway, with pavements measuring 7m and 2.3m in width, which have been taken back from the Sunrise project site, will be kept unchanged and refurbished.

Also, heed will be paid to creating a new 360m-long walkway linking up the existing coastal path, creating stairs leading to sandy area, installing power supply and automatic watering systems, and planting coconut trees and Japanese grass.
