Budget collection reaches over 19,253 billion VND during Jan-Oct

According to the latest figure released by the Da Nang Taxation Department, between January and October, the city’s total budget collection had reached over 19,253 billion VND, fulfilling 85.1% of the year’s estimates set by the city, surpassing by 14.4% compared with the same period last year.

Of this, land use fees collected across the city hit 3,689 billion VND, exceeding the year’s estimates by 47.6%, whilst the remainder came from other domestic collections, representing 77.3% of the year’s estimates.

However, budget collections from centrally-run, FDI and non-State businesses operating in the city were lower than expected, with only 62.4%, 69.4% and 69.8% respectively. In reality, major proportions of the city's total budget collection came from these businesess.

As of 30 September, 1,069 billion VND in overdue land use tax arrears had yet to be collected from already-cleared construction sites of delayed projects, whilst arrears from land areas which have yet to be cleared accumulated to 929.3 billion VND.

Also, a total of more than 7,400 displaced families which have been given resettlement land lots owed over 1,000 billion VND in land use charges.
