The event attracted the participation of around 600 chapter members with 12 stalls featuring a wide range of products, such as fried fish cake, dried seafood, organic vegetables, mushrooms, handbags, backpacks, natural and organic beauty products, clothes, pillows, blankets, and mattresses.

During this year, the Women's Union chapters across the district have received a total of 72 startup ideas from their members. Of this, 3 best ideas have been selected to compete in the municipal-level Startup Day.

In 2017 and 2018, the district Women’s Chapter helped its members with loans guarantees to enable them access credit totalling around 1 billion VND, from the city's branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in order to develop their own businesses to increase their incomes.
