In fact, timely blossoming will made it easy for the flowers to be much sold and enjoyed.
Many growers at the dedicated growing areas said they started the preparatory work for the Tet flower season in the 8th lunar month, with heed paid to purchasing pots and fertilizer, enriching soil condition, and implementing related tasks.
Flower growers have installed irrigation and night-time lighting systems on their cultivation areas, along with focused on fertilizer and insecticide spraying.
Such flower growing areas require painstaking care and acute awareness of weather changes, which can make or break their crops, especially prevent pests as well as prepare measures to cope with any unfavourable weather conditions.
Another tough task is to prevent crops from blooming either sooner or later than expected.
Many growers now hope that their flowers would reach full bloom for the upcoming Tet, and be sold out before the Lunar New Year’s Eve.
