The Spring Fair 2019, which took place from 16 - 23 January at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, attracted around 70,000 visitors in total.

According to the fair’s organisers, the businesses participating took an estimated 3.2 billion VND from sales. All products on sale at the event met the diversified demands of local customers over the Tet holiday.

In the framework of the fair, the ‘Tet Sum Vay’ (Lunar New Year Reunion) programme for workers took place in the city on 16 January.

At the event, the municipal Labour Confederation donated  Tet gift packages to 300 poor workers. Besides, free coaches are scheduled to bring a total of 2,000 migrant poor workers back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet with their families.

Likewise, trade union organisations cooperated with local businesses to offer goods and services which are much cheaper than those sold in the market for blue-collar workers.
