Investment welcomed in the city's 12 projects
At the upcoming ‘Talk of Spring’ programme, which is scheduled to take place in Da Nang on Friday, the city will announce 12 projects totalling 3.48 billion USD which are appealing for domestic and foreign invesment.
These projects include the 2 billion USD Danang Gateway project at land lots Nos A12, A13, A14 and A15 on Vo Van Kiet, plus a 2.7ha land lot on the northwest side of the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap and Vo Van Kiet streets.
It will be developed by the joint venture of Sakae Holdings Co Ltd, Fission Holdings Pte Co Ltd and Newtechco Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
Developed by the Keyhinge Toys Vietnam Joint Stock Company, a racecourse and a horse farm will be built in Hoa Vang District at a total cost of 200 million USD.
An 87 million USD factory specialising in manufacturing air compressors and robot vacuum cleaners will be developed by the Alton International Enterprises Co Ltd in the city’s Hi-tech Park.
Daiwa Vietnam Co Ltd’s fishing-rod manufacturing factory expansion project will be implemented in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park at a cost of 50 million USD.
A 5 million USD international general hospital will be constructed on an area of 3,262m2 and borders Chu Huy Man, Ly Dao Thanh and Tran Khat Chan streets in Son Tra District.
In addition, investment research activities are encouraged for a 22.59 ha complex of services for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival in Ngu Hanh Son District’s My An Ward with a total investment of 14,500 billion VND, plus a 4,500 billion VND project for creating tourism and entertainment spaces and building Ba Na-Suoi Mo Golf Course in the communes of Hoa Nhon, Hoa Son, Hoa Ninh and Hoa Phu in Hoa Vang District. Both of the projects will be developed by the Sun Group.
Meanwhile, the 2,600 billion VND Hoa Ninh Industrial Park (IP), the 11,000 m2, 2,000 billion VND Hi-Tech Building, and the 2nd stage of Hoa Cam IP in Cam Le District with an investment capital of 1,634.4 billion VND, will be also deployed.
Covering an area of 35,196m2, the 1,000 billion VND Da Nang Bay Information Technology Park will be built on Nguyen Sinh Sac Street, whilst the Vinamilk dairy farm will be built in Hoa Vang District.
