The BonPas Bakery & Coffee offers the best possible cakes and drinks to its customers.

Lanh inherited entrepreneurship from her parents who founded well-known Dong Tien Bakery company in 1963.

After 5 years studying in Singapore and the US on business, in mid-2015, Lanh returned to her hometown in Da Nang to realise her dream of establishing her own career in food and beverage (F&B) services. This is indeed her great passion since she was a little girl.

Lanh started working in the family company as a junior manager. Two months after starting, Dong Tien’s Board of Directors decided to assign Lanh to build BonPas Bakery & Coffee, targeting at young people.

It is noteworthy that this concept of inhouse restaurant & coffee and modern ambience is a much different business model and brand than that of the family’s traditional business. This model has thrived in Ho Chi Minh City and foreign countries.

Lanh had thought about some new models for the family business since the time she worked at the university cafeteria. So, when she was given direct and clear mission for opening bakery & coffee, it took short time to plan out what to do step by step for a new brand- BonPas Bakery & Coffee.

Lanh learned about SME Mentoring when she enrolled CEO short training courses in Ho Chi Minh city. Her decision to join the 12-month mentorship was a strong commitment since Lanh had to fly from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh city for mentoring sessions every month at her own expense.

The first BonPas Bakery & Coffee store was opened in Da Nang on Le Duan Street in late 2015. Three years later, similar facilities marked their appearance on busy Nguyen Van Linh, Dien Bien Phu and Xo Viet Nghe Tinh streets.

Everyday Lanh and her subordinates manage a workforce of 118 people — of whom, 79 are female. Mission of the management team is to make sure that every team-member moving toward the slogan that BonPas has committed to the customers: “Fulfill Your Happiness.”

Lanh said the BonPas Bakery & Coffee brand name has always attached importance to enhancing the quality products with the strong commitment to offering the best possible cakes and drinks to its customers.

Besides, BonPas's staff members have always showed their dedication, friendliness and polite attitudes towards their customers in a bid to ensure their great satisfaction about services here.

Lanh should be happy with her choice but she may be too busy at questioning how to expand BonPas brand with new concept and make “BonPas Bakery & Coffee” become well-known local brand for “number one” baked goods and serving experience in next three years.

Sharing her rich business experience, the talented young businesswoman underlined a must-do for normal small-scale startups to come up with their ideas of making a difference in their products and services, and fully tap their internal strengths and advantages on their path to success.
