During their one-day stay in the city, the foreigners were taken to some popular attractions in the city and its neighbouring localities, including the Museum of Da Nang, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Hoi An City and the My Son Sanctuary.
In addition, they went shopping at local traditional markets.
Afterwards, the ships left the city for other destinations.
According to the city-based travel agents, European tourists preferred to visit attractions which were imbued with local cultural identity such as museums and the Marble Mountains Tourist Area.
