Start and finish dates set for some key projects

Most recently, construction units across the city have been busy accelerating the construction progress in a quickly fashion in order to ensure that their projects would be put into use as scheduled.

In particular, a ring road linking Hoa Phuoc with Hoa Khuong communes in Hoa Vang District will officially open to traffic on 19 May.

The completion deadlines for a parking area project at 255 Phan Chau Trinh, and the 1st and 2nd stages of the Hi-Tech Park project will be 2 September and 31 December respectively.

From now until the end of this year, work will start on 9 key local projects in the city.

In detail, work is slated to start on a housing project for workers at the 1st stage of the Hoa Cam Industrial Park before 30 April.

On 30 April, work will begin on a water environment improvement project on the eastern side of Son Tra District, and the upgrading of the Ngu Hanh Son wastewater treatment plant.

Meanwhile, the construction of the Hoa Lien Water Supply Plant project is set to start on 30 June.

Work is scheduled to begin on the remaining 5 projects on 2 September. These are the building of an overpass at the western end of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge, the upgrade of the DT 601 road, the establishment of the Organ and Stem Cell Transplantation Centre and the Centre for Traumatology and Orthopaedics at the Da Nang General Hospital, and the construction of the 2nd phase of the cardiovascular centre at the hospital.
