To date, work has started on the 170 million US$ Sunshine aerospace components manufacturing, the Xuan Thieu Tourist Area expansion, the Key Tronic Viet Nam signal lamp manufacturing, and the Nissan Automobile factory expansion projects.

In recent days, a bustling working atmosphere has been seen at the construction site of the Sunshine aerospace components manufacturing factory at the Da Nang Hi-tech Park.

A daily average of around 100 construction workers and 50 technical machines are busy building the factory.

A representative from the project’s developer, Chief Executive Officer at Universal Alloy Corporation (UAC) Chip Poth said CMC equipment will be installed at the factory in August.

He added the factory will operate on a trial basis in February 2020, and it will be officially put into operation in April 2020.

“First batches of components will be exported in June 2020. The factory’s products will be exported to foreign countries worldwide, with a focus on supplying to the world’s leading aerospace manufacturers such as Airbus and Boeing” Chief Chip Poth noted.

Meanwhile, the expansion of the existing Xuan Thieu Tourist Area in Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Hiep Nam Ward is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021.

Besides, TCIE Vietnam Company, a member of Malaysia’s Tan Chong Motor Group, is carrying out the expansion of the Nissan Automobile factory in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park at a cost of over 3,300 billion VND. The project is scheduled to be completed in June 2020.

Work is expected to start on a 2,700 billion VND electronic components factory expansion project in the city this month, and an over 1,600 billion VND Key Tronic Viet Nam signal lamp manufacturing in September.
