Marble Mountains welcomes one millionth visitor
On Tuesday, a ceremony took place at Da Nang’s Marble Mountains Tourist Area to welcome its 1-millionth visitor since the start of this year.
The lucky person was Mrs Nguyen Thu Huong from Ha Noi who was on a visit to Da Nang with her family members.
To mark the occasion, Mrs Huong received a souvenir from the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, and enjoyed exemptions from entrance and elevator-usage fees.
The lucky visitor said this was the first time she had visited the Marble Mountains Tourist Area. She felt very lucky to become the one millionth visitor at this tourist site this year.
“I was very impressed with the enthusiastic and thoughtful reception of the Management Board of the Marble Mountains Tourist Area. The Marble Mountains site is one of the most beautiful places in the central region, and truly a place not to be missed while you are in Da Nang. I will go to this can't-miss place again if I get the chance to come back Da Nang”, Mrs Huong remarked.
In 2018, the Marble Mountains Tourist Area was recognised as a special national-level relic site.
This tourist site is targeting of receiving 2 million visitors in total by the end of this year.
