Budget carrier Vietjet Air will start operating the new non-stop service connecting Da Nang and Taipei on 19 December.

The flight departs from Da Nang at 10:50am, and arrives in Taipei at 2:30pm The return flight takes off from Taipei at 3:30pm and lands in Da Nang at 5:30pm (all in local times). With just around 3 hours, passengers are ready to explore Taipei – one of the most bustling cities in Asia.

New and modern A320/A321 aircrafts will be used for this new direct service.

To celebrate the new route, hundreds of thousands of super-saving tickets priced only from 0VND are given away and up for grabs at golden hours between 12:00 – 14:00 from 27 to 29 August at website www.vietjetair.com and Vietjet Air mobile app.

The promotional tickets are applied to all routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City/ Ha Noi/ Da Nang to Taipei/ Taichung/ Tainan/ Kaohsiung with the flight period from  1 October 2019 to 30 June 2020.

To meet the air travel demand, Vietjet is currently the airline with most routes to Taiwan, including 8 routes and operates nearly 20 flights per day.

Mr Jay Lingeswara, the Director of International Sales & Distribution of Vietjet, said, the new Da Nang – Taipei route is a part of the plan to expand Vietjet’s flight network to bring more flying opportunities for travelers.

Currently, more than 3,000 passengers daily can depart easily from Ha Noi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City to big cities in Taiwan by the high frequency of flights, convenient flight time, and super-saving tickets.
