Between January and September, the Business Registration Office of the Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment granted business registration certificates to a total of 4,145 new domestic and foreign businesses, branches and representative offices, with a total registered charter capital of 21,237 billion VND.

These figures represented an increase of 8.5% in the number of newly-established firms and 6.3% in total registered investment capital against the same period last year.

The newly-established firms mainly got involved in such aspects as agriculture-forestry-fishery, education, healthcare and social welfare services, science and technology, consultancy and design services.

The average registered capital of each firm hit 5.1 billion VND.

During 9-month period, 500 businesses and affiliated units were dissolved.

To date, there are a total of 30,106 businesses, branches and representative offices operating in the city, with a total registered capital of 205,916 billion VND.
