The Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical Engineering Company, based in Hoa Cam Industrial Park Cam Le District, Da Nang, has been recognised as science and technology firm.

The company has successfully implemented science and technology tasks assigned by the municipal Department of Science and Technology, without using the funding from the State budget.

Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong has designed and manufactured large-sized vertical steel bending machine, special machines for lathing centrifugal molds to cast concrete pipes, specialised pipe winding machines for hydroelectric projects and mobile roll forming machine.

Last year, the amount generated from production and sale of products created from science and technology research activities accounted for more than 30% of the company’s total revenue.

The company’s revenue recorded between January and September was 1.5 times higher than last year’s figure.

Based on the above encouraging results, the company, therefore, is completely eligible for the recognition as science and technology firm.

At the ceremony to award the recognition certificate, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh highly applauded the company for its great success in its scientific and technological research, production and business activities.

With the recognition as a science and technology firm, Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong will enjoy many incentives in terms of income corporate tax, land rental fees, credit interest rate, and other preferential support from the city government.

Vice Chairman Chinh affirmed that the most important thing is that the science & technology firm will enhance their reputation and win over more trust of their partners and customers.

He underlined a must-do for Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong to continue performing its scientific and technological tasks, enhance the living conditions of its employees, and make greater devotion to the city’s growth.
