The Da Nang government has temporarily suspended the operation of some inter-provincial bus routes between Da Nang and Quang Nam Province until further notice as part of measures to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

The temporary suspension order has been applied on the Da Nang - Hoi An, Da Nang - Ai Nghia, Da Nang - Tam Ky, Da Nang - Phu Da, and Da Nang - Que Son routes.

In addition, 8 intra-city bus routes offering subsidised ticket fares will be forced to halt operations starting from early April.

These routes will be: No 5: Nguyen Tat Thanh - Xuan Dieu, No 8: Hoa Lu - Pham Hung, No 11: Xuan Dieu - the Viet Nam-Korea Friendship Information Technology Junior College, No 12: Tho Quang - East Sea Park, R4A: Han River Port - Hoa Tien Commune, Hoa Vang District, R15: the Inter-provincial Coach Station to Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District, R6A: the Inter-provincial Coach Station - the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, and TMF: Vung Thung - East Sea Park.

The remaining subsidised intra-city bus routes, namely No7: the Xuan Dieu Bus Station  Duc Long Bus Station, R17A: the Han River Port - the Hoa Vang District Administration Centre, R16: Kim Lien - the Viet Nam-South Korea Friendship IT Junior College, and R14: 29-3 Park to the High - Tech Park, still remain operational.
