First stage of Sunshine aerospace components plant goes into operation
The 1st stage of the Sunshine aerospace components plant at the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park has gone into operation after one year of construction.
Covering a total area of 16.7ha, the US$170 million project is divided into 2 stages. To date, the 1st stage of the project which covers an area of 10.9ha has been already completed.
Meanwhile, the 2nd stage will be completed on an area of more than 5.8 ha in April 2023.
Once fully operational, the plan will export its products to North America and Europe worth an estimated US$ 25 million by 2021, US$ 82 million a year later, and US$ 180 million annually from 2026 onwards.
The project plays an important role in accelerating investment promotion activities into the Hi-tech Park, thereby promoting the city’s growth.
