Work begins on Hoa Lien Water Plant
Work began on the 1st stage of the Hoa Lien Water Plant in Hoa Vang District, Da Nang on Wednesday morning.

The 1st stage of the project will include the building of a 13,606m2 reinforced concrete spillway on the Cu De River, and a 727m2 raw water pumping station with a daily capacity of 120,000m3 of water.
Also, 1.4m- diameter and 10.616km-long raw water pipelines will be placed underground running from the pumping station in Hoa Bac Commune’s Nam My Village to the water treatment plant in Hoa Lien Commune’s Quan Nam 1 Village.
Besides, mixing, reaction, sedimentation, filtration, storage, sludge compression and chlorine tanks, a polymer mixer, storage houses, warehouses, security houses, and a parking area will be created.
The construction of the 1st stage of the project with a daily capacity of 120,000m3 of water is expected to be completed on 25 June 2021.
When completed, the project will help ensure water supply for residents in the districts of Lien Chieu, Thanh Khe, Hai Chau, Son Tra, and Hoa Vang.
