The Viet Nam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), on Wednesday introduced a preferential loan package, worth 100 trillion VND (over 4 million USD), to support businesses and individuals affected by the coronavirus epidemic.

Affected customers will enjoy an interest rate 1% and 0.5% pa lower than normal for loans in VND and in foreign currencies respectively.

This preferential credit programme will last until 3 months after the coronavirus pandemic ends or the credit package of 100 trillion VND is completely disbursed.
