In particular, shipbuilding and the production of floating components rose by 141.1%, seafood processing 36.2%, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies 32%, machinery and equipment 30.6%, paints and varnishes 24.4%, instant food 24.8%, sports equipment 23.6%, and metal production 3.8%.

The city’s IIP for June is likely to drop by 5.5% against the same period last year. Between January and June, the city's total imports are predicted to decline by 9% against 2019 to hit 570 million USD.

In its efforts to promote the recovery of industrial production, Da Nang is accelerating the construction of the Hoa Nhon, Hoa Ninh and the 2^nd stage of the Hoa Cam industrial parks.
