Da Nang promotes its tourism in Central Highlands

The Da Nang Department of Tourism implemented a marketing campaign in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on Friday to promote Da Nang's tourism products and its services in an effort to attract visitors from the Central Highlands to Da Nang. The Da Nang tourism promotion campaign also aimed to create a closer link amongst tourism businesses from the 2 localities to boost the tourism industry in their localities.

Within the framework of the Da Nang tourism promotion campaign in Dak Lak, the tourism associations of the 2 localities signed a cooperation agreement on reviving the tourism sector in their localities in the current context as the Covid-19 pandemic has been basically contained in Viet Nam.

Under the agreement, the 2 localities will take active steps to meet the Viet Nam Tourism Association-issued safe tourism criteria to ensure the safety of tourists during their stay in the country, and to support a tourism stimulus campaign entitled the ‘Vietnamese people travel in Viet Nam’

In related news, representatives from Da Nang’s tourism firms has joined in a 3-day and 2-night famtrip during which they conducted surveys on the potential of such popular attractions and tourism products in Dak Lak Province as Dray Nur Waterfall, the tourist village of Ban Don and the World Coffee Museum.

Currently, flights connecting Da Nang with Dak Lak Province’s Buon Ma Thuot City are operated by both flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget airline Vietjet Air, with a frequency of 4 flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, each.
