Da Nang will hold a series of online seminars for investment promotion this month and next month in a bid to attract more FDI inflows into the city’s priority sectors, namely hi-tech, IT and high quality services.

The organisation of online events is aimed at reducing the risk of Covid-19 infections and saving the organsing costs.

On the spotlight at the forthcoming events will be investment opportunities in Da Nang and its incentive policies for foreign investors.

In detail, on 17 July, an online event will be co-hosted by the municipal Investment Promotion and Support Board and the Da Nang branch of KPMG in order to attract European investor.

On July 30, the Board will work with the Viet Nam Economic and Cultural Office in Taiwan to jointly hold a similar online event to attract Taiwanese investors to Da Nang.

Next month will see another one so as to attract South Korean investors which will be co-organised by the Board, the SaigonTel and South Korea-invested SMBL.

In Da Nang, these online events will be attended by Da Nang’s leaders and representatives from relevant local agencies.
