Since 2015, Da Nang’s industrial parks (IPs) have attracted 37 FDI projects worth nearly 182 million USD and 108 domestic ones totalling more than 3,600 billion VND.

In particular, 17 projects has been granted investment licences to operate in the Hi-tech Park.

Till date, 490 FDI and domestic projects with total registered capital of VND 61,000 billion VND in combined have been carried out in the Hi-tech Park and industrial zones.

The average occupancy rate of the 6 IPs now reaches 86.45%, 3 of which have been full. The total cost of maintenance work in the IPs has hit 300 billion VND.

The figures were released at Thursday’s meeting to review the performance of the Authority of the Hi-tech Park and Industrial Zones during the 2015 – 2020 period.

In regard to major tasks for the next 5 years, emphasis will be placed on furthering the implementation of patriotic emulation movements in order to leverage the Authority’s operation, speeding up administrative reforms and creating a more attractive investment environment for the sake of investment attraction attempts.
