Da Nang promotes its tourism in Viet Nam International Travel Mart 2020

Da Nang is partnering with the central provinces of Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam and Quang Binh to conduct tourism promotion activities in the Ha Noi-hosted Viet Nam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2020 running from 18 - 21 November.

At the four-day ongoing expo, the tourism departments of the four central localities are participating in a joint booth named ‘Four Localities – One Destination’, targeting at introducing their local tourism products and services, festivals and unique souvenirs to visitors.

Besides, representatives from many travel agencies, hotels and attractions across Da Nang are participating in tourism promotion programmes at the event.

Also within the framework of the VITM 2020, a handful of Da Nang-promised high-quality tourism stimulus packages offered at very attractive prices are being introduced at a press conference of the upcoming ‘A Flow of Quintessence’ tourism forum for the central key economic region and Viet Nam’s two biggest cities, namely Ha Noi and HCM City.

First held in 2013 by the Viet Nam Tourism Association (VITA), VITM has gained in stature as an international -level large-scale annual event attracting thousands of domestic and foreign businesses involved in the tourism industry.

This year’s mart during which digital transformation-driven tourism emerges on the agenda, features about 250 booths run by tourism businesses, management and promotion agencies from 47 cities and provinces nationwide and from six foreign countries and territories, namely Thailand, Peru, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan and Colombia. As many as 50,000 visitors are expected to make their visits to this event.
